To audit and inspect homes being weatherized and assist the Energy Services Coordinator in the field and office.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Reason position exists is to perform these functions.)
Verify client’s income eligibility
Schedule and perform energy audits and inspections in accordance to state regulations.
Provide customer service and resolve client concerns and issues
Perform pre and post blower door diagnostic testing
Perform furnace duct testing and evaluate sealing of the system to state standards utilizing a duct blaster
Evaluate air sealing as prescribed on weatherization projects on both houses and mobile homes
Provide energy education to potential and current clients
Evaluate lighting and appliance replacement
Track and maintain an equipment and material inventory, as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Two years paid experience in residential building construction.
Associate’s Degree in Construction Technology or equivalent training can substitute one year of experience.
Responsible Managing Individual for ORCCA Contractor’s License required within 6 months of hire.
Building Performance Inspector (BPI) certifications required within 6 months of hire.
Lead Based Paint (LBP) certification required within 6 months of hire.
REM-design software certification required within 6 months of hire.
Geographic Area: Coos and Curry Counties
May lift items up to 51 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
Indoor and outdoor work environment. Indoor office is climate-controlled; may not have access to sunlight. Regular activities outside in a non-climate controlled environment.
Regular kneeling, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, standing and sitting.
Ability to drive long distances.
Regular use of hands (finger, handle, and feel), reach (with hands and arms)
Vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus with or without corrective lenses required.
Work outside of the office at irregular hours will be required on limited basis.
Oregon Driver’s License and good driving record required.
Proof of automobile liability insurance @ $100,000/300,000 liability limits and maintain such limits.
Able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
Reliable transportation for getting to work.
Must be free from illegal drugs, may be subject to suspicion testing.
